Introduction:
This report summarizes the key activities undertaken by our organization in January, focusing on supporting vulnerable individuals and communities in Chipinge District.
Key Activities:
1. Donation of Bags and School Stationery:
We received a donation of bags and school stationery from Zimnat, which we distributed to 20 primary school orphans. The items were donated to Gaza Primary, Madziwa Primary, Gaza O Primary, Nations Primary, and Makocheredze Primary.
2. Psychosocial Support and School Fees Sponsorship
We received a visit from a Tongogara widow whose child had passed away from an accident. We provided psychosocial support to the mother, food, and clothes, and we also linked the family to donors who paid school fees to the remaining 3 children.
3. School Fees Sponsorship:
We sponsored the school fees of a primary school female student at Gaza Primary
School, promoting girls' education and empowerment.
4. Handover of Donations:
We received a donation of clothing from the Methodist Church and held a meeting in our office to facilitate the handover. We received five bags of clothing, which will be distributed to vulnerable orphans, youths, and widows.
5. Beneficiary Visit:
We conducted a visit to Gaza on January 25 to check on one of our beneficiaries, addressing their concerns and providing necessary support.
Conclusion:
Our organization remains committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and communities in Chipinge District. We look forward to continuing our work and exploring new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
