CVCIP Expands To Communal Chipinge

CHIPINGE Vulnerable Children Intervention Programme (CVCIP) which was mainly focusing on Chipinge urban is now expanding to communal Chipinge following its receiving Private Voluntary Organisation certificate and approval letter from Manicaland Provincial State office to work in the province, starting with Chipinge District.
The organisation endavours in empowering and developing poor of the poorest orphans, widows and youth.
According to CVCIP Founder and Executive Director, Mr Luke Mugobo, the organisation is promoting aspects of livelihoods for its target group.
“We are offering nutritional support for vulnerable people through fish farming, poultry and and gardening. We also provide educational assistance, shelter and economic strengthening projects to our target group.
“In addition to our beneficiaries in Chipinge, we are also supporting 2 widows from Muzarabani in Mashonaland Central who are living with orphans.
“Anyone who believes in developing the lives of orphans, widows and youth is invited to join us as a volunteer. We are not looking for the volunteers’ monies, but their ideas and service.

Mr Mugobo expressed gratitude to Chipinge businessperson, Shubash Rana for donating 50 broiler chicks and soft drinks for CVCIP beneficiaries.
He went further to thank the following for donating towards CVCIP’s cause: The Joshua Generation International Network (laptop), Arundel Girls High School of Mt Pleasant in Harare (clothes and stationery), Mr and Mrs Masaire of Mtoko Centre (clothes), Dairibord Chipinge (sterimilk) and Paidamoyo Musaemura of Chipinge (cash).
